Episode 2 Bug

Every time I complete the synergy with the key and the letter I cannot do anything any more. Erica's dialogue ("Number 303. Got it!") stands at the bottom and does not vanish. The cursor does not find any hotspots. Sometimes the animations get really slow and repeat themselves.

Does anyone have a savegame?

I am having the exact same issue but I downloaded my copy through GOG so Bushie's provided details don't help me in locating the relevant save file.

Any assistance in doing so would be great as I can send email it to you.  Really loving the game and want to get back into it asap.

Does the same thing happen if you skip the line that Erica says when you do that synergy?

 With my issue, I can't even get pass the first 6-7 minutes of episode 2 on my new Steam version and that never happened w/ my IGS version (I mean it crashed in that version too but not THAT EARLY in game...). Hell,  I don't even have any save data to show (at least not for my Steam version) as it's so freakin' early in the game--my game crashes right before the conversation w/ Erica & Sully even ends (it crashes right as in-between Johns coming by Erica's desk and tells Erica & Sully he's head home).

Kinda doubles b/c I had actually already played through this part in IGS just fine and have save  data for it but at least for right now, I can't even use it to sorta force it pass that section. So as it stands I truly can't even barely get into the game.

Can you email me the output log from the game after it crashes? Wherever you have it installed (if needed, you can right-click it in the Steam client, go to properties, and then there's an option to browse the local files in there) look in the data folder for Episode 2 and send me the "output_log" file via Weldon@postudios.com.
