Can't get Cognition Episodes to run, getting an error message about resolution?

Hello Everyone,

Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place, or if this is a dumb question.  I just download episodes 1-4 of Cognition, and I'm getting the same error message whenever I try to run any of them.  It says "Couldn't switch to requested monitor resolution".  My laptop is running in 1366 x768, but I've tried switching to several lower resolutions on both the game initial game settings,  and on my computer.  The error message I'm getting is below... any ideas what I could do to fix this?  Thanks for any help anyone can give!

"Switching to resolution 1297x729 failed, trying lower one
All resolution switches have failed
Screen: could not switch resolution (1366x768 fs=0 hz=0)"

Try picking the "Fastest" quality setting option when you run the game and see if that makes any difference. If not, run dxdiag on your PC and email the results from that to me via Weldon@postudios.com. Thanks!

I just ran the dxdiag and sent the results to your email.  Maybe I should try from a newer computer?  It just occured to me that maybe my computer specs aren't up to date or something.

So it was definitely the specs on the old computer that weren't up to date.  I downloaded the game on a newer PC and its working just great.  Just finished Episode 1, and loved it!

Looking forward to Episodes 3-4!
