BTW, has anyone else noticed that all the Independance days seem to fall in July??

IIRC, the Wallon's one is in August. But indeed, the Belgian and Flemish are also both in July.

I only knew a few country's independance days by heart, that's the Belgian, the Flemish, the French, and the American, and that's about it. As you can see, V'zla is not in that list.

Here in Flanders, there's parties all over the region on our Flemish national (we can't call it independence day 'cos we're not independent (yet)) day.
