I'm pretty sure AGD1 did all of them. They all have the same style, and AFAIK she was the only doing the game's graphic art 8)

Ahhh.

There were other portraits I found kind of funky-looking, I just found Graham's and Valanice's to be the most jarringly so... mostly because they didn't match up with their (much better, IMHO) cutscene looks.

Spot on imitation of Murray outside the cave, though.

If I recall correctly, it wasn't so much imitation as it was taking a sound file from Curse of Monkey Island.

On another note, the mother pumpkin's voice reminded me of Estelle from Seinfeld.

Oh, I guess that could do it. (sheepish look) In my defense, I've heard Harrison do some uncanny impressions, so it didn't seem that odd to me. :P

Another random comment... I'm happy with the fact that they use "all right" in their dialogue instead of "alright". I know it's a really minor thing, but people using "alright" is one of my few spelling/grammar pet peeves. :P

Well, in defense of "alright", I use it in dialogue because people say "all right" really fast (like me) so it's like "alright" instead.

The other spot you wouldn't necessarily get *stuck*, but the best solution has absolutely no hints for it and was added in an update.  Did you go back to Granny's when you left Caldaur's castle?

Ehh. It only mildly irks me when people use "alright" in chats or forum posts, but I hate seeing it in games or books or whatever... it's so unprofessional-looking.

Ahhh, that part. Actually, believe it or not, I *did* go back to Grandma's right afterwards... I'm such a well-trained adventurer that I figured maybe I could snag something now that no one was looking that I couldn't get before. (shifty eyes) But I could swear when I tried clicking on the pillow that first time, it wouldn't let me. Worked the second time I played through the game, though. Maybe I'm just going nuts. (I know, wrong tense. And yes, I had used the updated version both times.)

Oh, and I remembered... not that he seems to read the forums much, but I kind of liked Kurdt's voice as "Young" King Edward. I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree there, Questie. ;)

So the second time you played through, you didn't use the violent solution on the wolves outside the church, correct?

Oh, no, I wasn't talking about young King Edward.  I meant he sounded bizarre when he was old.  I think they went too far trying to get him to sound feeble, maybe.

Correct. Not quite as exciting an animation, though. ;)

Ohhhhh. I didn't really remember "Old" Edward that much. Anyhoo. In that case, then...

ALL HAIL KURDT! BOO-YAH!!!!!!!!!

I tried to throw it at the wolves the first time I did it......that doesn't work. ;]

You HAD to go to grandma's house? I thought that was just an easter egg... I'm pretty sure I finished with full score without that ???

I also thought you get more points with the violent solution for the wolves :S

OK, just to clear up any potential confusion, there's two wolf encounters where you actually have to do something. One is right outside the church, when you're heading back to the swamp for the last time. The second is when you actually *get* to the end of the swamp for the last time.

In the first instance, you can get rid of the wolf in a non-violent way with some help from Grandma's house. (This was added in version 2.0, I hear... apparently before that, the violent way was the only way.) In the second instance, you do have to get medieval on the wolves' asses.

There's a third option.  It gets you no points at all, but you could "flee with flying feet" (a quote from the QfG3 manual XB)

I'm just glad I'm not the only one who tried that. I felt really stupid especially when I'd already finished the game.

But you never get more points for being violent in a KQ game! Except maybe MoE, but I hardly consider that to be a KQ.

Ahhh, I'm one of those traditionalists who don't expect the game to change after they've played it, hence the confusion :P
...Now I have to re-download and re-play KQ2+... poor me ;P

That's probably why they changed it ;)

Look at it this way... you get to use the speech pack now, too. 8)

I already re-played it with the voicepack when it came out... I'm not THAT much under a rock ;)

Hmm. I thought Version 2.0 was the only voice-pack enabled version... if that's the case, why would you have to download it again, if you're played it already? (Are you a silly person who deletes all her downloads? ;) )

Of course not! I have my copy of KQ2+ safely burned on a CD... somewhere :P But since I've never heard of that change before (though I was hanging around the AGDI forums after version 2 was released) I assumed it was in a version I don't have :S
Silly me, expecting them to say something so that people who have already finised the game in the old version could enjoy that too :P
