The glows don't show in Opera either (I'm using it right now for this post).  :'(

I've noticed. I think there's an extinsion for Firefox. It lets you view it in/with/something IE. I'll try it later.

I have no idea what it is, much less what it does. I'
m going to try it though.

Opera has that, identify yourself as different browsers.  By default mine was set to identify as IE 6.0, but the glow still didn't show.  ;P

All that the "identify" option does in Opera is alter the browser identification header the browser sends to try to trick browser-sniffing scripts.
I've had browser-sniffing scripts that weren't fooled by Opera's identify-option too. :-\

We've just had too much trouble with IE...although with a couple websites, that's the only browser I can use in order to view those sites.
I concur, after trying Syberia2's forum, and never returning there again, after expressing my objections using IE on my work laptop.
