Youtube and General Rant
« on: November 08, 2013, 01:48:17 PM »
So I've been lurking here for quite some time (a week... that's a long time now kay?)

And I've decided to make my first official post here, besides promoting my Cognition playthrough (Which I LOVE BY THE WAY..)

I recently got permission to monetize Cognition (Thanks Katie! And congrats on the wedding by the way!) and started uploading and working on the footage. Everything went fine for the first episode, but now 2 3 and I'm sure episode 4 are going to be 'under review' for a looooooooong time coming. Yay!

Regardless rant time.

I love point and clicks. Always have, been a favorite genre since the 90s. It's been such a long time since I found a game that can tug at my feels like Cognition has. The art style, the music, the interaction, and just the way Erica is.... ESPECIALLY the moments of terror and realization (Claudette being there anyone? That struck me as WHOA)

But needless to say Cognition has been a WONDERFUL journey so far. It's rekindled a fire that I thought would take a miracle to bring back. I'm loving the journey and cannot wait to start Face Noir for sure!

Thanks for reading my rant/frustration/rambling.

Thank you & you're welcome, Bastion! And welcome to the forums too. That's awesome to hear you're loving Cognition so much. :D It can be hard to find games that hit the right chords for you (general 'you', there) in any genre, really. There's so much that goes into making them, and sometimes just one thing off can make it not work for a person depending on their tastes.

We're really happy that Cognition has been going over well with a lot of people though! :)
