When did you last play a King's Quest game? Which was it?

And does anyone else REALLY miss KQ?

I'm not sure if you'd count this, but I last opened KQ1 a couple hours ago to get source art for an animation project. :P

Last played would be hard to say. I tend to marathon through them with new boyfriends as an initiation as to what dating me is like (a lot of me being very excited about things that are objectively kind of underwhelming, :P) but as I've been single for several years now, I can't remember the last time I did that. XD I do remember watching the retsupurae videos for KQV-VII just a few weeks ago, so that's something. :P

And I dunno about really missing KQ. The games are still there when I need them. :P

Myself, my most recent run of the games was KQ5-KQ6, full runs. And I walked my girlfriend through all of the games except 1, 2, 3, and 8--She solved them but with me walking her through it, a bonding experience similar to how my dad walked me through KQV and VI when I was 5 which got me into them.... My girlfriend is now a big KQ fan and will actually quote the games at times. We watched the Retsupurae videos of KQ5 and KQ6--Which we both love--and sometimes quote those as well.

I meant missing KQ in terms of like, for the first time in ages, I REALLY wish there was a new KQ game in the pipeline...As does my girlfriend. And I guess I miss the characters and want to see them on a new adventure, a brand new one that my girlfriend and I could play together and solve together for the first time.

The last time I said that I missed having a new KQ game in the pipeline we got KQ8. So, I stopped that line of wishful thinking.

The last time I remembered playing the KQ games through was last January when I had the flu and all I could do was play point and click games, so I did playthroughs of KQ7 and KQ5. I think I also did a playthrough of KQ2 and KQ4 this spring before things picked up with my work over the summer.

I really need to get around to playing them again when I have time. I think I'll schedule a complete KQ marathon soon.  ;D

I went on a Sierra binge late last year with all of the Kickstarters and the King's Quest games were included in the mix.  I also played The Silver Lining for the first time, as well.

I played part of KQ7 earlier this year, haven't had a chance to finish it yet though. And last year I started into a playthrough of Mask of Eternity only to be brought up short by a consistent crash in the mines.

I played through KQ1SCI and about halfway through KQ4 with my nephew and niece. It was a lot of fun! (Run! It's Mrs. Ogre!)

I'm not sure how much I miss King's Quest, since I have all of it, official and fangames included, on multiple computers. And I am pretty grateful we got what we did with TSL so far; it may be controversial with a lot of fans, but at least it's something. I guess I'm pretty bummed out that Kingdom of Sorrow is getting so little focus at Infamous Quests, but I'll understand if it never reaches completion. They came out and told us that they were already cancelling their KQ3 Gold Edition and SQ2 Gold Edition games, but didn't say anything about cancelling KoS, so I guess that's something.

And I know it feels like POStudios doesn't care about TSL episode 5 lately, but that doesn't mean the game isn't going to be finished. It isn't gone, it's just not in the public eye right now.
I have no mouth, and I must scream.

The last thing i played was episode 4 from the silver Linings, but before that i played all the kings quest games and their remakes through, the last game i played was kq7.
But Kq8 is still missing, but the last time i had that game it crashed so i dont if that is a good idea to get the game again.

From last Wed into Thurs afternoon I played and finished Kings Quest VII, I spent all day Friday and the morning of Saturday playing Kings Quest V, and all day today I've been playing Kings Quest VI but I stopped for a little while since it crashed on me twice.

I played King's Quest 6 on my Amiga last year, because I wanted to see the differences between it and the PC version.  Well worth the play!
