Which was the better series in your opinions?
What is your favorite SQ gamex btw?

Intendant S

Space Quest has always been my favorite series (with Leisure Suit Larry as a very close second). It was the humour that always got me, especially with the pop culture reference put in by the Two Guys from Andromeda. Picking an actual game in the series, though, is a lot harder. SQ1 EGA was the very first game I ever bought with my own money, so that one holds a special place in my heart.  Storywise, though, it's a toss-up between three and four.

We've been over this a million times. Comparing the two is comparing apples to oranges. We can like them both without having to choose one over the other. Stop inserting competition where there is none.

I really liked them both but space quest had a special place in my heart. Especially SQ5 who was so beautiful and funny at the time and was in french!! It was the first game that I can fully understand! But I didn't have to understand English to appreciate LSL5 :) Now I'm OK with my English and can appreciate every game But King Quest series arrived second after space quest for me.

Space Quest is my favorite, but I love both. Also, Quest for Glory!

I actually kind of Like Kings Quest more.

The logic just flows much better and Space Quest would often just outright sense nonsense at you.

And while Kings Quest has its fair share of nonsense it always was a bit more grounded.

As well Space Quest's puzzles were always a lot more obtuse than Kings Quest tended to be.

Though, the reason for this is kind of clear. Kings Quest might have elements of comedy but it clearly isn't a comedic game. While Space Quest is a comedy and everything I said is part of its charm and are reasons why you should play the game.

So I guess what I mean is... I just prefer Kings Quest but recognize that Space Quest is a pretty good game that ended on a lack luster sequel (though to admit... it is hard to live up to the second to last game in the series).

Though it certainly ended with a lot more dignity than Kings Quest did...

Quest for Glory is the correct answer.
