ha haa! I think I do actually use this word in real life. Even if it does sound granny-fied I don't care. I like the lovely word. Its not that peculiar is it?

I rarely use the word "love" or "lovely" in RL.    Maybe I've said it before sarcastically though!

I tend to use "lovely" almost always in a sarcastic sense. Like, someone tells me of some totally crappy thing that happened or that someone did, and I'll say, "Oh, lovely," in a sarcastic voice. I seldom use it in a "serious" sense.

I've got a friend who uses the word "lovely" sarcastically...don't think I've heard it used seriously though...

Yeah thinking about it I always use it for sarcastic purposes. Seeing as its a girly word and all *twiddles thumbs*

I use it both ways.  Sometimes I use it in all seriousness - "Oh that's absolutely lovely!"  Similar to "that's brilliant!" - Brilliant - one of my favorite English expressions.

But it's not uncommon for me to use it sarcastically - actually, come to think of it, I use both lovely and brilliant both sarcastically and seriously.  Interesting....

the word lovely...even if i use it, i dont conciously think OMG! I am using a word that no one else uses (infact i hav my own kimmie language in order to do that  )
