Problem With Movement or Pan

On my PC:
In Ch-2 Cairo, I am suppose to go left to the Lady of the Dunes bar.

I've viewed YouTube walkthrough for this point and it shows Malachi seeming to follow the cursor and the scene pans left. That does not happen on my PC version 

I have read the "How to Play" and it says to click on a hotspot to move, double-click to 'teleport.'

That seems to work ONLY when the hotspot says it's an exit.

In the scene in Cairo there are two hotspots "City" (one left and one right). If I click those all I get is the eye-icon, there is NO movement.

If I move the cursor to the left border of the screen I get a "City" hotspot-like box but still no movement or pan-left.

How do we pan or move a scene left or right 

NOTE: There should be a hotspot "Pan Left" or "Pan Right" for these functions, OR the "City" hotspots should ALSO have the manipulate-icon.

There is no hotspot to accomplish this, Malachi does not "follow" the cursor. You just click on the ground and he walks to the spot you clicked on. He does this in nearly every scene in the game.

If panning is necessary, it happens when Malachi moves - the camera "follows" Malachi.

Clicking the ground on left does NOT work 

Clicking the ground anywhere else causes Malachi to move RIGHT, to the shop.

Clicking at the left border to the screen (which is just left of the upper boardwalk) does nothing.

Completely stuck

Thanks  hope you can find a fix.

PS: I have a save when Malachi is in the Cairo hotel room. In the room, click the ground and he does move there. But outside the hotel that does not work, click the ground and he stays standing at the hotel entrance.

Suggestion, patch the game so scenes like this have a move hotspot like [Go Left] or [Go Right] for all scenes like the Cairo streets.

Did more research. ALSO, I play ALL games OFFLINE.

Started a New Game. Noted the following.

The click-ground to move Malachi is NOT universal  does NOT work in all scenes at all times.

EXAMPLE: Venice, Cardolo's home, Bianca's bedroom...

• The first time you enter, click-ground move does NOT work
• The second time (when Malachi has the desk key), click-move DOES work

Even after starting a New Game, Ciro Streets click-move still NOT working 

Needless to say click-ground to move SHOULD be universal.

It's a pain, but it might be worth uninstalling and reinstalling the game.
