I don't think MY sister's hot, just like YOU don't think YOUR sister's hot!

Everyone else seems to think MY sister's hot, just like everyone else seems to think YOUR sister's hot!

We're kindred spirits, Neil!

J-R: It's a general rule I've found... most of my friends always were rather incredulous whenever someone said they found one of their opposite gender siblings attractive. I guess it's because you can never look past the fact that you know what they look like in the morning in boxer shorts/rumpled nightshirts with crappy bedhead, and that sort of thing. ;)

That, and incest is just disgusting. :X  ;P

Hey James!  I never saw a pic of your sister yet. :'(

Nor will you.  I've heard "James, were you dropped on your face as a baby?" too many times! :D

Liz: Yeah, Yonkey's right.  It's not about seeing them first thing in the morning (sometimes that can be sexy!) but it's moreso the fact that you're related and it's just downright sickening to find them attractive.  I would only say my sister is attractive because everyone else says so.  My own opinion is that she's gross, has cooties, and takes too long in the bathroom. :D

J-R: Fair enough. ;) I was just basing my thoughts on the fact that whenever I told one of my gal pals that I thought her brother was cute, she'd invariably say something like, "Yeah, well, you've never seen him when he first gets up in the morning!" or "You should see the way he acts like a pig when he eats," or "Pray you never see that very weird birthmark he has on his back," etc. It always sounded like, since they'd seen him in all his most ugly/embarrassing moments, they could never see him as objectively attractive to anyone.

Yeah... At most I could say to someone my cousin x is attractive, but that's about the closest I can get on this topic.  I so cannot call anyone related to me secsay -- it's just too awkward.  ;P

True enough, the embarassing moments can be unflattering at times....but it's when you can observe someone at these times and still find them attractive that there's something worthwhile there. :)

Couple years ago, I met some female cousins of mine again that I met 15 years ago or so....so it's like, yer nice to look at....but it gets creepy if I say more... :P  (that is say they're more than attractive....)

What James is *trying* to say here is that, he finds it embarrassing to refer to his cousins as "hot" or "sexy". XB

I never said it was embarassing, I said it was "creepy".  And I don't think I've ever tried to convince someone I wasn't creepy.
