The game runs, but I have a thing bouncing around the foreground of my monitor, saying "Input Not Supported". I checked the folder for a way to change the resolution, and I get the following (summarized) message if I click either "save" or "save and run": Unhandled exception, access to the path "C:\Program Files x86\....\Quest for Infamy\acssetup.cfg" is denied.

As well, in the Prelude To Infamy, it crashes. I will get a detailed example of the error message when I am able.

I am running Windows 8.

Edit: Here also is an error message I receive upon clicking Begin New Infamy:
Adventure Game Studio
An error has occurred. Please contact the game author for support, as this is likely to be a scripting error and not a bug in AGS.

That sounds like a file permissions issue. Program Files is a protected location. (Ideally configuration files should be in AppData or ProgramData. Try running as administrator - it might help.
