Moebius F.A.Q.
Save files disappearing

This is a rare bug that can occur if your computer shuts down while the game is running. If you are prone to power outages or random system shutdowns, it is advised that you make backups of your saves. The save file location for Moebius will be in your Steam directory at \Steam\userdata\(your user id)\264520\remote\moebius.

Can I use my non-Steam save file with Steam?

It should work, but you'll have to trick Steam. Run Moebius through Steam and create a save file that is the same name as the one you created from your non-Steam copy. Then while the game is still open, copy over your non-Steam save file and overwrite the file you made in Steam. Then quit the Steam copy of Moebius, and Steam will sync, and this should make it loadable in Steam.

Non-Steam saves are located at C:\Users\[username]\AppData\LocalLow\Phoenix Online Studios\Moebius

Steam saves are located at Steam\userdata\(your user id)\264520\remote\moebius.

I pre-ordered Moebius - where can I find the soundtrack?

Once the game has officially launched, you can find the soundtrack inside of the game's folder in your Steam directory. The easiest way to get there is to right-click Moebius in your Library, choose Properties, click on the Local Files tab, then click the Browse Local Files button. There will be a folder called Soundtrack within that holds the music.

I am seeing very odd walking animations. What's going on?

This is being caused by monitor refresh rates above 60hz. Set your monitor to 60hz and the issue should be resolved.

The game freezes up often

This can be fixed by adding the command line option "-force-gfx-direct" to the game. To do this, locate Moebius in your list of games, right click, and choose Properties. On the dialogue that pops up, click on the "Set Launch Options..." button and type the option mentioned above into the box. Re-launch the game and enjoy!
