I recently got my hardcopy of "Moebius" (Big Box Version for kickstarter backing)
and wanted to install the game. But it doesn't work. :(
I choose a path for the installation and click for it to start but I get an error Message that says
that Moebius.exe can not be installed, file is corrupt.
Clicking "try again" doesn't help. I have tried installing in other directories but that doesn't help eighter.
Is the file on the disc I was sendt corrupt? If so, can I please get a new one?
I hope someone can help me please. :(

You do have sufficient free space to install the game right? And your computer meets the system requirements?

Yes, on both counts.
I have 625gb of free HD space and I am running an Intel i7 970 with 12gb RAM and a GeForce 780Ti card.
I'm using Win7 64-bit.

The error Message does not say I need more space or anything like that, just that it can't install Moebius.exe becuase "file is corrupt". :(

The installer itself is definitely ok, as we tested it several times before sending it out and haven't heard this issue from anybody else. Could you check and make sure you have all the current Windows updates for your system? Also make sure to disable any active antivirus software while running the installer, as that could potentially interfere. I'm trying to think of what else could possibly be messing with this process.

Thank you for the answer. :)

I have all the updates and disabled the antivirus but the same error message still shows up.
I finally got to try and install from the CD on another computer a few hours ago and it worked there.
So I now know that it is not the disc.
So I tried installing from a new downloaded setup.exe and that worked.
I have no idea why it will not install from the CD but I now have the game running and know that the CD does work, just not on my cmoputer.

Thank you for the attempts to help, but it seems it is a case of my computer acting wierd.

Hope you have a happy New year. :D

That IS really weird, but I am glad you got it working. Thanks for letting me know!
