I am in Day 4. Everything has worked fine up to this point, no matter the resolution/graphics quality combination. I am ready to go to Grandma Knight's House, and when I click on her house, I hear the roar of the bike, but the screen goes black. In this black screen you can still move the mouse around, and when over a place you can click to go to, it will display the name and you can click on any of them to exit this black screen. If you keep clicking on Grandma Knight's icon, you just hear the motor but stay on the screen.

c) Critical: As far as I can tell, it is impossible to continue the game.

This sounds like an issue that normally only happens in the demo, is that what you're playing?

I have been actively searching for evidence that I did purchase the full version, thinking I had reached the end of the demo sooner and was given the option to purchase and continue. I'm quite surprised it has gone all the way near the end of day 4 for a demo, but if that is what is causing the crash, there's no way I can't buy the full version to finish. Too much of a classic.

Are there any other limitations of the demo version, like definitively stopping at a certain point? It's a rather large file and literally fooled me into thinking I did go ahead and order a copy. Thanks for your answer.

The demo is meant to stop at the end of day 3, though there's a "Continue" bug that allows it to try and start day 4 which can never be properly completed.
