We had our own version of such a fuzzy bundle of hair some time ago, but sadly it didn't survive a thunderstorm when his/her mother thought it was time she took them outside.

Afterwards, the cats we got were raised by someone else, and we only got them when they were old enough to not need their mother anymore.
But mainly, we'd have to give him up if he sheds a ton (since my dad's in the ministry, can't have cat hair all over his suits) or if he and Koko don't get along
Don't know what cat-type you have, but ours don't shed tons of hair. Whether or not they get along, depends on how old Koko is, I guess. Our indoor-cat is, I think, reaching old age, so she's obviously too old to get accustomed to changes in her life. Hence, she and the outdoor-cat don't get along, but that's not a big problem, since they only spend limited time in each other's vicinity. The indoor-cat knows though she can't hurt the outdoor-cat, so she just hisses and moves away if the outdoor-cat comes too close (who just wants to play).
