Hi, stormcat, sorry to hear about the audio issues.
This is definitely new to us as we had tested on iOS 8 before.
My iPad 4 which has Retina and iOS 8 had tested fine.

Which iPad model are you using?  There are a few now that have Retina display.
We can better investigate that way.

Also, how is the no audio happening?  From the title screen?  Or only when you start playing?  Or at certain points of the game?

If any other players out there have a Retina display iPad with iOS 8.3+, would you mind helping download the free version (by default Day 1 is free) and try it out, too?  We can get a survey on this started.  Post replies here.  Thanks!

Mr Bear

Okay, seems we have a common device named now, that will help.

I've asked a playtester who had played on an iPad Air 2 to see if sound is a problem now with him.  (It hadn't been before, so iOS version could be a factor.)

Will let you know results and maybe that will help track things down further.

Keep the reports coming!  Some new tidbit of info would still help.  Thanks, all!

UPDATE:
Playtester was actually on iOS 9 beta, but his iPad Air 2 played GK just fine, he said.
So we're still looking for more accounts of between iOS 8.3 and 9.  But at least we know iPad Air 2 as a device should handle the game fine.

Same here. No sound on iPad 2 (not Air) running iOS 8.4.1. The iPad has sound in other applications but no sound in Gabriel Knight game. Checked settings in game and sounds are all turned up to maximum. No idea what else I could try to fix it?

iPad Pro here, with no sound either. When will this issue be fixed?

And, I'm going to begin playing, but I wanted to know can we play without the sound and still get by? Or is there parts of the game that require sound, like to hear tones or such??

Please fix this issue
