HI HAIDS!!!!!!!!! :D

So far, the first chapter is excellent! 'Course, there's always room for improvement, (no game is perfect) but so far it's looking great! I recommend it!

Welcome back!!! :D

Birdy

I'm rather new to King's Quest, but I can say it's one of the most beautiful games I've seen in a while. A definite recommend.

Actually, the release is very new of this King's Quest game.  It was just earlier this week.  :)  It's fun.  I like it.  There are a couple of quibbles I have with it, but it's overall entertaining.

Whew! I was terrified that this was information that everyone knew, and I was the only one. Like that girl in 10th grade that was like "ZOMG! HAVE YOU EVER SEEN TITANIC?!" And I was like, ".....um, in fourth grade...." ::) But I'm even more relieved to hear that it's a worthy play. It looks rather...Disney-fied, moreso than the seventh one. But hey, Disney is one of the loves of my life, so complain I shan't! I read on the website that there are "plenty of deaths"...please, please people who have played, please tell me there's a quippy saying for each death!! **Crosses fingers**

:smitten: I'm so relieved to hear that. "Beautiful" is always a good adjective!

There are remarks with each death, some quips, some puns.  :)

But yes, the animation style is somewhat Disneyesque.  Yet it works better here than in 7.  The movement is very fluid with the characters.  I actually like the animation style for this game.  But I'm a Disney fan too.  :)

Doing all right. :h_hugz: (Apparently we got new giant smilies :D)

Finished it, very much enjoyed it and looking forward to the next one. Want to play it again to try the different solutions and do some of the side stuff we missed.

(I know, what is with the huge candy hearts?!  ???) Woohoo!! Glad to hear it! So far I'm relieved. Do we know if Roberta had anything to do with the release and the apparent resurrection of Sierra?

Roberta and Ken did make an appearance at the Game Awards last year though, which was pretty cool. They even gave the people making this game a Graham hat :D

And I'm sure they were well compensated for that appearance.  Let's not be too naive here.

And what's wrong with that if they were?  It was an awards show.  Plenty of awards shows compensate their presenters and award winners.

I'm just saying that I believe the Williams' studio visit and Game Awards appearance was a well-paid part of Activision's carefully crafted marketing campaign.  I bet Activision even had the hat made.  Make of that what you will.  ;)

I wouldn't doubt it, since they showed the game trailer after the Williams received their award.

QuoteAt least it's a nice hat, though!

Even if Activision had it made, it was indeed a nice hat.  I kinda want one.  LOL.
