You don't have to "draw" anything. It's such a small picture, that all you'd have to do, is change the color of the pixels(almost all digital images are made up of squares, called pixels).

In other words, there are only four dots(squares) that make the eye of these smilies(most of them, anyways), change the four black dots(squares) to four red dots, you have a red-eyed smiley. Simple.

P.S. Try the non-animated smileys first.

I would like to know whether or not it's normal the smiley window only works with the thread you opened it in (and with 'works' I mean you can click and it pastes), or is that another quirk of Linux/FireFox?

It should be normal for the smiley's to paste in the same window you opened it, but I only reply in one thread at a time, so I've never experienced that problem.

Yes, well, I leave it hanging on one side of my monitor, whilst my forum windows are on the other side, so I don't have to click on 'View All Smilies' in every reply I post and want to put one of those smilies in.

The menu itself is adequate, the fact it only works in the thread you opened it in, is inefficient IMO, but I can manage.

I dunno... I finding switching to a previous thread window, selecting a smiley, then switching back to the window I'm replying in less efficient than navigating the smiley menu located in the window I'm replying in.

I'm sorry, but I'm not quite getting the first part of your post. Why do you need to switch to a previous thread window to select a smiley to put in the windows you're replying in?

CC: I figured that what you meant by your initial complaint was... you wanted to have the smiley selection thingy open in one window all the time, then use it for all your other reply windows. So you'd have to switch between the smiley window and your reply windows.
