Whats your favorite movie genre?

I voted horror because as much as I hate to admit, the games I've enjoyed the most has been as dark as mmm example silent hill, parasite eve and such

I love when I can get into a game as much as to freak out, worry, wonder, and such that's what games are for!! that's true entertainment hahaha, and oh I also like FF games a lot, that would fit into what? fantasy? RPG? OMFGIGNORANTZSAY... lol, no really, what would that fall into?

The FF games are fantasies with a little bit of SF borrowings, IMHO.

yeah I also believe FF has a lot of sci-fi content myself, but its somehow hard to put it into a category since  for example, FF8 had a lot of sf contect yet I believe it lacked badly of the mains scence of what the other ff's had, the fantasy-adventure like scheme... well my apologize to those who did like a lot ff8 but honestly I will chose ff7 or ff9/ff10 any time

Yeah, Comedy's missing for some reason. My favorite genre too. Ah well, I went with fantasy as my second fave cuz I really like seeing what other people's ideas of other worlds are.

I could only put down 8 genres so i put the first ones that came to my mind , thats why i had the others option , then everyone complians about not having all of the above so i added that

And the FF games would fit under fantasy cos they revolve around magic (mages) and FF8 would also cos it is set in the future and includes magic also !

FF7 and FF8 were different from the others , they didnt include Mages and that! they brought a new magic system cos they wanted to see how ppl would react to the fact of no mages ! So in FF9 they decided to bring Mages back because ppl hated the new system !

you couldnt have said it better, true, the fact that ff7 was *good* was because even though they did add some sci-fi scheme it wasnt so far or separated from what the fantasy theme from the real final fantasy games are, I absolutly loved ff9 and I will say that forever because yes, they were completly unattached on ff8 to the main core of what ff is, as well as I cant believe they did this kickass movie based on one of the sequels that I believe had not much to do with ff8, not to mention was a lameass the system was to fight... I mean wtf... I didnt quite like it at all I didnt even finish it, I didn't quite like it to commit to it entirely.

Maybe 8th is a doomed number for sequels and 9 is the kickass one , lol
