What would be the best thing to put in a letter to the landlord so he'll evict them, or at least put them on probation?

(OK, so seriously, this isn't a hypothetical. They did wake me up at 3AM a little while ago, they have done all this stuff before, and I wanted to vent. Bleh.)

I'm so not good in writing such letters (mostly because I've never done that) ...but isn't it possible just to state all the facts what you just said? and get some neigbours sign your petition just to make clear you're not the only one.


...and I guess it has to go against the house rules, so if you can refer to those you might be able to stand a bit stronger

Yeah, I was thinking about that last. Harrison and I were going to compose a letter, and it occured to me a little while ago that asking the other neighbors for their input might not be a bad idea. One of the tenants is the mother of one of my noisy neighbors, but I bet the other two tenants are as cranky as we are. (I know the police have stopped by several times, certainly, and I only called the once, heh.)

Unfortunately, I don't think we actually have any house rules, other than the obvious "don't break or take stuff that isn't yours" rule.

hmmm, it might be a good idea to state specific situations (or refer to it) instead of talking only about general behaviour, cuz such behaviour is often a bit vague.

I'm back... again. I went to Pennsylvania for the weekend for a college visit.

There were no hotel vacancies in the town where I went for a college visit, so I had to go almost an hour further in to Pennsylvania to find a hotel. The town I stayed in was... interesting. On every block there was either a church or a beauty parlor. And then there was a building with stacks of tires outside and two auto repair garages, but the sign out front said Pizza Station
