The Official General Chat thread!

Wow, the title makes it sound like this is something important!   ;)

Basically Storm suggested having a thread that doesn't have to stick to one topic.  It's a thread for general discussion and stuff.   ;D  Think of it as the forum version of MSN/IRC/ICQ/Yahoo/E-mail... ok you get the point.   :P

Anyway, I'm sure Storm has something to say since she wanted this, so I'll open up the floor to her!  

Ladies and gentlemen.... we'd like to introduce you to the sword-slashing, Connor-bashing, party-crashing (j/k!), potato-mashing (hahah ok i'll just stop now  ;D) lady of the year....   :o

I don't really have anything important to say. The whole point of this thread is to have a conversation, and a conversation usually has more than one side  :-\

My level is still the same - that would make the next level at about 1500.

In a complete non-sequiter, I remember CC saying he used Active Desktop on one of his PCs so he could hide his desktop icons.

I found this little program that'll let you do that without Active Desktop installed, plus a whole bunch of other yummy stuff:

The first time I saw & played KQ1, it was on a PC XT computer with a CGA monitor. The thing is, it didn't look like AGI on CGA, and it had this little sound I distinctly remember, which it used to play every once in a while.

Does anyone know anything about it? could it be a different version?

No, Yonkey was very quiet about anything KQ9ish... ;) Not that I tried asking much, though, we got kinda carried away. ;D

I think Say was on around 3, but Yonkey was on for a loooong time. ;) Mango was on for quite a while too! ;D
