Has anyone here other than me heard of a show called Dark Shadows?

I've heard of it... a sort of horror soap opera about vampires, wasn't it? I'm afraid I've never seen any episodes of it, though.

Forever Knight is nowhere near the same class as Dark Shadows. It was an old 1960's gothic, horror, soap opera. It had werewolves and vampires and everything. It was stupendous. Easily the best soap opera ever ( which isn't saying much). It even had two movies.

He was talking about Dark Shadows there. Forever Knight was an Arthurian-based tale, if not a telling of the King Arthur mythos itself, IIRC. I'm afraid I haven't seen it either, so I'm going on a vague memory guess.

Forever Knight was a show about a vampire that wanted to become a human.

Argh, I was thinking of "First Knight".
That'll teach me to go by my memory instead of consulting the IMDB.

IIRC, First Knight centered around Sir Lancelot. It was pretty good.
