I never understood how books with titles such as "Death of a Salesman" or "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" can sell. I mean, why do we care about Brooklyn's vegetation. :P Then again, I've never read either of these books. So maybe I'm the one missing out.

I guess you don't get very many telemarketers calling you. ;-D

Lol, yeah, I saw that CSI episode, too.  Death of a Salesman, however, is a pretty good play, IMHO.

Let's see, I live in Vermont, so there's a lot of things I don't know but everyone else on earth does . . . thing is, I probably still don't know 'em!

I guess I'll mention the first thing that comes to mind. The *entire* world doesn't know this, but I still felt pretty dumb that it took me as many years as it did to figure out that the symbol of the New York Yankees was made up of a stylized N and Y. :P
I had one like that I just figured out. I thought that the icon for Microsoft Excel was just an X with a funny hook on one side. Now I see that it's actually an X with one half being made out of a slanted L, sygnifying Excel (XL).
All that is gold does not glitter
Not all who wander are lost
The old that is strong does not wither
Deep roots are not touched by the frost

From the ashes a fire shall be woken
A light from the shadows shall spring
Renewed shall be blade that was broken
The crownless again shall be king
