I like doing things the hard way...

...usually because once I'm half-way through with something, someone comes up and says, "well, you could've done it this way."

hardly, at least not my line of work, the easy way is the way to train your brain more (cuz you have to find ways to make things easier) ...unfortunate you won't be able to do it he easy way when you begin. at that point the easy way would be the hard way, but once you know it its pwetty easy

When I stumble upon a problem, there's no way yet, and sometimes, what looks like an easy way, is a very time-consuming way, and therefor not the best way.

Every thread, when first created, is placed on the first page (unless the mods REALLY went overboard with the stickey threads). I don't know if that's true for split threads, but I'm pretty sure this wasn't one. So unless you started this thread (which you didn't because a. LN started it and b. I'd be very disappointed if you tried signing people up for this cause) your statement can't possibly be true.

Anyway, now it's on the first page again. Drats

What I meant was: the thread wasn't on the first page when I clicked on the 'New'-button and only went to the first page because I replied to it. And I was only replying to what B'rrr said. He said he'd keep it on the first page, which was not the case. Got it?
