Hell, I'm not even a part of the great KQ IX family! I am just a wondering outsider who peered in through the windows for ages and then finally stepped in when the opportunity to become the 600th member presented itself. Oh well (sighs) each to their own!
Once you become a posting member, you're instanly introduced into the family, and even more so if you post in the 'Haven' section. After all, it takes a special kind of people to survive in this section. :sneaky:

Definitely!  And it's not just post quantity that determines your value in the family; it's post quality. :)

The problem is: the more quantity you get, the less qualityit provides.
I'm pretty sure my post quality has dropped below zero. :P
But, nevertheless, I'm happy to be part of the family. :D

Heh, I lack both quality and quantity.

But remember the advice handed down from the Eastern front during 1941-1945;

"Quantity has a quality all of it's own."
When cities burn and armies turn,
and flee in disarray,
Cowards will cry 'tis best to fly
and fight another day.
But warriors know it in their marrow when they die and fall,
It is better to have fought and lost than not have fought at all.

But remember the advice handed down from the Eastern front during 1941-1945;
Even though I'm (one of) the eldest member(s) of the KQ9 Family, I wasn't there during that timeframe, so I can't verify if what you claim is true. ;D

I thought there already was a thread about the KQIX Family? But maybe it's (still) in Off-Topic, buried many layers (pages) beneath the surface (page 1). I guess it's up to the Thread Finder to try and find it. ::)

Anyway, IIRC, Storm was the (a)Grandmother, Liz one ofthe kids (don't remember which one's though), but that's all that's left in my memory. Lots of info passes through there, and only fragments are stored. :P
I'm guessing Rosella can be a child. 8)

Yeah, I thought this thread felt somewhat familiar, but I couldn't remember what I called that other thread.  I was hoping it was one of the threads bushie revived but I guess not. ;P
