Well, let me give you a brief geography lesson, boys and girls.
In this first image, we have a map of Canada. Remember, it's the 2nd largest country in the world! And just to put things into perspective, from the west coast to the east coast, it is approximately 8000 km, or 5000 miles.

What we see here is the country divided into ten provinces and three territories. I'm originally from the small province of
Nova Scotia, on the east coast (the right of the map). I now live in
Alberta, the large provice second from the left.
In this second map, we have a map of
Alberta.
Calgary is closer to the south. It has a population of about 1,000,000 people. You can also see the capital,
Edmonton, which is slightly south of the exact middle of
Alberta.
