I only wish I knew geeks where I lived! ;)

I know very, very few adventure game geeks here in Western MA (or almost any type of geek at all, for that matter, other than some music and/or theater geeks). All the other Massachusites on this forum seem to be from the Boston area. If I could actually afford to live out there, I might consider moving. :D

It is crazy how expense rent is in Boston. My 3 bedroom, full kitchen apartment is 1600 a month. I live with four other roomates so its not too bad.

Ya dont have to be a geek to love adventure games! I am probably the least likely person you would expect to be into old school sierra games.

I think those old adventure games were loved by every type of person.

And I dont look like an adventure fan or something related at all either hahaha, in fact, I dont look like someone who would play games at all, yet Im a game freak :P mostly console games instead of pc games (wtf Im looking foward for silent hill 4)

Im a KQXI fan though :P !!!!!!11  <3

Hee! I know you don't have to be a geek to like adventure games, but it helps. :D

Seriously, I've only known personally of two local people who liked adventure games. One was a co-worker at my old Toys R Us job. The other is the tenor in Harrison's barbershop quartet. Which reminds me, as soon as you guys post the online auditions stuff I need to tell the latter fellow about it, I bet he'll be psyched. (I've pawned off on him a few extra games I've ended up with, including Grim Fandango, Space Quest 4, and King's Quest 5. Whee!)

I'm a pretty late adventure game fan, myself, and still kind of a n00b. I used to like tinkering with text adventures, but due to a few mix-ups it took me a long time to discover graphic adventures.

Peace & Luv, Liz

Welcome!  I'm Roberta Williams, but you can call me MangoMercury.  You might have heard of me from such games as the King's Quest series.

ROBERTA WILLIAMS!!! NO WAY!  :o. This is unbelievable! I'm one of your biggest fans, and one of your youngest, I'm actually 12 years old! I love your games!! Especially King's Quest V: Absence Makes the Heart go Yonder. I'm so excited. You and your husband, Ken are geniouses! I have my own message board as well, it has to do with KQ games. I hope you don't mind if I put KQ9 in there.  :D :D :o :)
