I loved captain Kangaroo!
I used to watch it all the time!
I may even still have some tapes of it...

It's an older show(B&W), so odds are people that watch a lot of TV, wouldn't know either.

and this is coming from someone, that watches old silent films.

Anyone know a good place to buy it(online or retail-chain)?

I'll always remember his "faiy tale special" movie, which I think I still own.

Such a great movie..

I've seen many episodes of Captain Kangaroo, awesome show!

I think one episode had the Easter Bunny accused of a crime...  

And I'll never forget the episode that was in a subway station and had all those signs in one section.

That was one crazy show!

Sorta... it appeals to young teens more than anything. It's a bit more mature than Barney or Mister Rogers at any rate.

I've no idea who Mister Rogers is, either

He's from Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, which used to be quite good when it had all those puppets on the other side of the tunnel... sadly he died recently.

Wow, that was quite a long running children's show! Too bad he died in January of this year, supposedly he was going to try and restart the show, maybe with a different cast.
