I never get the time to read all of them, lol.

I manage to keep up with all the posts every day. However, I generally deal with each post one at a time... I read it, possibly reply to it, then forget about it until somebody responds to it.

I Don't have the time to read ALL the posts... I only read all the posts in the different sections and the ones from the "off-topic" section that look interesting.

This is yet another reason why the current forum situation is bad for me - most of the active threads are in the off-topic section, and many of them have non-descriptive titles, so the interesting ones tend to blend in with the nonsensical ones... not to mention that sometimes a nonsensical thread turns into a serious discussion - I miss those altogether  :(

Ofcourse, in my previous post I was specifically targeting the OT-section. I only occasionally also visit the General-section, but not nearly as much as the OT-section. :P
I also regulary have to scroll a few posts back from the new ones, to see in which way the discussion was evolving. The thread-names are completely useless for me, I just click on every one of them that has new posts. 8)

Doesn't work for me.

EDIT: Sorry, it would seem I was a bit too enthousiastic in removing space I accidentally removed a beginning quote. ;]

The link works fine at me, but doesn't work for me. Get the difference now? 8)

I love the View New Posts page. I used to just use as a "clean-up" spot for any posts I missed, but now I just use it all the time. Opera makes it particularly sweet.

1. Go to the "View New Posts" page.

2. Hit Control-J to bring up the "Links" window.

3. Click on "Address" to order the links by URL.

4. Shift-select all the URL's that have "start=new" at the end. Use Control-select to pick up any "stragglers".

5. Choose "Open in background page".

6. Get to reading.

7. Refresh the "View New Posts" page and repeat steps 2-6 until everything's read or I have to leave, whichever comes first. ;)

Peace & Luv, Liz

Anyway, I can't keep up with all the new posts anyway, so why bother? 8)

Oh, I see, anyhow I always forget stuff so its normal for me to check that out after checking all the posts hahaha :D

anyhow, sometimes I dont reply on all of them (omgyesitstrue) lol :P but its fun at least to read then, besides the fact that I always have to check every single thing around here... so either I like it or not I must just go for it at least once a week (though all new stuff, new members, etc)

Usually I go through the e-mail notification ones first (otherwise my inbox gets filled with crap :P).  Then I use that to see all the threads with new replies.

It's not that hard to use, it just takes you straight to the new post instead of going to each forum and looking.  ;D

And yeah, I don't reply in every thread I see, but I do read all of them so that's why I love that feature.  8)
