Security reasons.  They had a huge problem last year about a virus that came in through someone's IRC and almost wrecking the school's computers/internet/etc.

Glad I got to meet a few new people - thanks for saying I am semi-normal Jafar.  I try hard not to be totally normal.

ANd it's always good to get to talk to the Aussies  I mean it's not like the rest of the world even knows who John Howard is to laugh at his eyebrows!

It's been a lot of fun in chat - and I am looking forward to this weekend.  Given I don't blow up any more computers I plan  to actually be in there to chat a bit more this weekend - I gots all my Christmas shopping done!
