To celebrate the new boards, may I suggest that the project managers (that's you, Cesar

) would be gracious enough to provide us with another progress thread?

I mean, the last one was at least six months ago... how's the project been progressing since then?

It's nice to know you're still working on the project, and C'sar - having you around is definatly better than any progress thread

However, I know you have the whole plot figured out by now, so I was expecting something more along the lines of "we have X backgrounds out of Y completed, W sprites out of Z completed..." and so on.
Do you have the whole game design and working now just on the programming, graphics, music & such or is it still a work in progress on everything?

if you want a more approach progress number situation, I think you might have to ask cesar or rich like an aprox % of how the teams (art, music, writers...) are so far.

The reason we can't tell you how many of how many we have is because due to the recent problems, we were kind of pulled back on the script, and we had to rework much of it. Right now, we are at least half-way through, I'd say more than that. (script wise). Backgrounds wise, we don't have a definite count yet, but look something in the 200+ neighbourhood.

Programming and Music wise, they are moving too, but we couldn't dare to give a release date yet. It's still a long way to go.
What I could say, music wise, is that we have plans of releasing a soundtrack before releasing the game.

Is this right? (And take the link off if you need to). I hope not b/c, although I'm curious about what's going to happen, I don't want to actually know until the game comes out. And it seems kinda weird that someone would have so much information on the game back about 9 months ago. (of course, ya'll could be working on this a LOT longer than I thought)

thank you very much for letting the team now, they I know have worked really hard to take off all this old exposed info in the places they were informed way back then.

oh jeez you remember it?
yeah!

he was the one who posted the "im back" thing on the old forum, yeah he actually had some issues in the group or something (i dont -exactly- know what happened there) and then he went nuts left the group and started posting all over all that he ever had about kq, he did some sort of like steling form all scripts and eveything and he posted it all over!!!
then after like 3 months or something, the guys hired some dude named Henry something AND IT WAS HIM AGAIN, he stole other people's work put together a website showed it as work to allow himself to get again and in like a month and a half or something he posted something on the group site like "Its me noel again"
we all were like... alright, whats wrong with him.... and now he was back on the forums recently, I do know he has been around perhaps he will get registered again, he was john on the old forum lets see what new name he comes up with to hang around here :s

oh well.... :-/

I'm glad I didn't see any of those things he posted, and I hope I never will. This is bad for the whole project and for the fans as well...

I guess that's the risk you're take working on a fan project with a lot of people you don't know that well - there might to be a rotten apple in the bunch

I had the post in the last message, but I guess the Webmaster removed it (like I said they might want to do). But I went to go check it out to send it to Cesar, Rich, and/or the Webmaster and it has already been removed. I'm glad to know that the game isn't going to be like the guy had said! It looked interesting, but a little far-fetched. Thanks for clearing that up!
