This means you can't download the game from 'the underdogs' anymore... now there's a link for
buying the redux on the game page instead

I finally got to play and finish Bad Mojo (actually it was some months ago). I liked it a lot... it's been a long while since I started playing a game in the evening and got so immersed in it, I didn't even notice the sun came up

I recommend it to everyone except the very squeamish, with a few reservations though.
The copy of the game I used had most of the movies (cutscences) missing. Words cannot describe the frustration of reaching the end of the game and having it skipping the ending sequence and cutting straight to the credits

not to mention I hardly had a clue as to what was going on most of the time
However, when I got a full copy of the game and played through it, I was kinda glad I missed some of the cutscenes, as they contained some hit-you-over-the-head obvious hints, sometimes even *showing* you places you haven't been to yet, or what would happen when you solve the puzzle

So, my point is (yes, there is a point here) that if you're playing the game for the first time and want it to be more challenging, try to avoid stepping on those weird eye symbols you'll find lying around. The hint clips they trigger don't tell you anything about the plot itself, so you won't be missing anything there

Another thing is the movies quality. The game is designed to run in 256 colors mode, so it seemed really strange that the movies look much better when played in high color mode outside the game

Of course, this probably doesn't apply to the redux version, but I still wanted to complain

One last thing - and this is merely my own personal prefernce here - I was kinda sorry that such an original, atmospheric game is "wasted" on such campy cutscenes
