LCD's are getting better though. Most games can be played at a <16ms response time. A worry with the Benq monitors is dead pixels

. They only offer a 7 day dead pixel warranty over here, and u need atleast 4 dead pixels for a replacement

. I thought I had a dead pixel when i first opened the box, but it turned out to be a spec of dust. *phwew*
How much do they cost anyway?
Benq monitors are cheap, but a lousy warranty. If your not too worried about dead pixels, then go the Benq 767. 12ms response time, and it looks pwetty cool

Over here it cost's about $450, over double the price of a normal CRT. CMV is some new company selling LCD monitors. Their latest has a 8ms response time and a 1 dead pixel warranty

. Their downside is there uglinest though, my like CRT's I guess! This is about $500 over here.
My interest in becoming greater in Half-Life 2 lol
So far, my personal experience has been great. HL2 isnt as fast packed as other games, so i hardly notice lag.....you might run into profblems with CS: Source though

and now to get back on topic......
I bought Rise of nations today, it's pretty confusing. Probably take me a few days to figure out. I'm not sure if I should return it for Rome: Total War
