Cat's avatar is more detailed than most of the others( it's a RL pic, not a drawing ), which is what I think is causing the larger sizes.

The other possibility, is that I have NO idea what I'm doing.

Take CC's has that shape, because I couldn't fit the eyes on there, and the reason it looks like that, is because it was wide, but not tall ( I might have to rephrase that later ).

I noticed you only used the bottom portion of my avatar. Too bad, seeing as how many pictures I had to look through until I finally found a black cat with green eyes (the other were all with orange eyes).
