I have a hard time too figuring what would be a nice phrase, most of all because i primarily think in dutch... and because my english hasn't been used for a long time (xcept for reading)

what i think he meant by it was when someone is saying something to him he pictures it in his mind , which helps him think about it properly .

...oh ...didn't got that!! lol ; ) ..hahaha, but what I meant is that when I want to say something, I usely have to translate it to english (cuz my first thuoghts are in dutch).... well I'm getting (bit) better in that, especially if I'm talking/writing/reading for a while ; )

AFAIK I think in English more than I think in Dutch, which is kinda difficult sometimes because most of my time I'm in Dutch surroundings so when I have to think of a Dutch word I know what it is in English, but can't find the Dutch translation.
