I suppose that's pretty cold for Tennessee, but the ACTUAL temperature here was -23 °F (-30.6 °C). The wind chill was around -40 °F!  :o

The GOOD: My wife's school called off today, too - so she didn't have to go to work. :)

The BAD: My work wasn't canceled, so I had to go out in that weather! :(

The GOOD: The weekend is finally here!

The TERRIBLE: have to get new data in Advanced Lab and have to take it all down by hand... *doubts this is physically possible with the tools available* *sigh*

The GOOD: MUSIC! :D
The GOOD: reviewing Greek! *is terribly under-practiced in Greek* :-/
The BAD: being terribly under-practiced in Greek (but I'm working on it: see above)

The BAD: stupid Perseus Tufts refuses to behave itself >:( *hits it repeatedly and realizes he needs a trip to the stabbing thread*

The GOOD: this thread is on page 99 sooooooooo it'll go to 100 shortly *crosses fingers*

The BAD: scheduling issues, not enough hours in the day, overbooked for life, not getting enough stuff done, needing to take GREs, needing to do data processing in Curtis Lab, needing to do data acquiring in Advanced Lab (see above), needing to meet with Dr. Curtis to discuss data analysis... cf. "overbooked for life" :P

The GOOD: basically, some times (like now), I sit down and refuse to work and thus do fun stuff instead :D
