Young Valanice, eh?

I didn't think about it much the first time I was looking through the gallery and saw the young Valanice character sketch, but now with this week's poll topic... I'm wondering if the whole romance between Graham and Valanice might be shown a bit more or something? Revisted? THAT would be really interesting.

Or even a bit of Valanice's history. I mean... how much do we really know about her origins? I think we just might find out a few things in KQ9.

Ummm...I don't remember if this has been talked about.

But I was once told that speculating is a good thing...but I doubt we'll get a definite answer until those in charge want that information leaked

But from the promo trailers, it IS obvious that there will be time travel. And it looks like maybe Valanice with that hourglass thing. Annnnd... a young Valanice character sketch. Well SOMETHING is going on, I suppose it is useless to speculate, though. Most fun things are useless in that sense, though, aren't they.

Valanice's previous life to KQ2 is one of the main plotlines of the KQ9 story.

Maybe her previous affair with Mr. Cheesy has been revealed, and she's going back to alter time to prevent Graham from knowing before he files for divorce

And woohoo, now I know more about the plot, thanks, Cesar! VERY nice, I'm glad it explores that little bit of uncharted territory.

We only got to play Valenice once in the KQ games, I think her character deserves a little more screen time.

Dark character pasts eh? Thats right up me alley marvel! Looking forward to hearing what things you have cooked up to fill in the KQ series massive plot holes! (No offensive but as a general series the plot "string," is tentative in connections at the very least, I know it was probably to avoid scaring off potential new players but at little more effort could have been poured in surely?...never mind... I am just rambling again!)

I would think that Valenice goes through time and warns the younger Valenice that something bad might happen (e.g. Keep an eye on Rosella when she jumps into the pond in KQ7).
