Useless ID, the best music outta'...

Anywhere. Well, actually out of Israel. That's right, these bastards come straight out of Haifa, Israel...and they f***ing rock everyones' pants off. They've been around for nearly ten years, but this album could be their first major breakthrough in the United States. It's currently the #1 album in Japan...but has yet to be released in America.

Anyhow, their new sound is pretty incredible...ALOT more versitile and creative than today's pop-punk. The songs are fairly complex, the lyrics actually have meaning, and they aren't your everyday "trendy emo" crap you hear all the time now. The three songs that you can hear FOR FREE at their Myspace account (I'll give the address later) are pretty awesome. "Dying Love" is a fast paced, hard hitting song that doesn't stop and has a creative, catchy ending. "State of Fear" brings the politics to the table; it's undoubtedly a legitimate view of today's politics...as they live in Israel, a place currently still of constant chaos. Finally, "Pink Stars and Magazines" is a catchy, poppy pun of today's mainstream pop-punk, and it's a good tune. Although I have yet to hear the rest of the album, as it hasn't been released here, I have heard one other song off a sampler that is on the album. "Kiss Me, Kill Me" is one of the catchiest "deep" songs I've heard in a long time. It's just simply an awesome, unbelievable song and is worth the entire price of the album itsself, reguardless of the other songs, which I'm sure are just as good, if not better.

Anyhow, I talk to the guys alot and I want to see them do well...so I'm just kinda using lame propaghanda approaches to spread their music around. They sound alot like the Ataris...and rightfully so; Kris Roe produced some of their earlier albums. You can listen to the stuff at their myspace account here:

And finally...a picture of the crazy bastards themselves...

Now GO, LISTEN, LISTEN! I COMMAND YOU ALL!  :suffer:

So righteous in our blood.
It looks so tarnished in our eyes,
Yet so afraid of...

Fading into nothing,
Fading into nothing.
Just a trace of light
That burns within our thoughts... "

Hehe you're a regular little Guerilla arent you!

I listened to a few tracks and suprised my self by liking them. Its not usually my thing but this seems different enough from the millions of moany bands around atm to warrant a listen. I'll keep an eye out for them in the UK!
