Those of you who visit the 'Quest for More Glory' forums would know about this.

Hi all.

As some of you may know, our friend Brassfire has been having serious problems with her teeth for a long time now. Even though she managed to get some of her teeth fixed, there are still plenty of trouble to go through. There are two teeth that need root canals and one of them is beginning to get seriously infected and she could get sick because of that! It will cost around $1259 to get those fixed and the more she waits the more they will cost in the future.

Once those are done she ll need 3 crowns that cost $700 each…all and all she ll need around $3400 to fix her teeth.

Plus there is the part that her husband and her have no place of their own to stay in right now and they are staying at a place owned by V’s family.

And the biggest problem of all is that they can’t afford to pay for any of these things! Brassfire needs our help you guys â€" so if you want to help her please send her some money at this paypal account:



Remember that the situation is critical and if we don’t do something soon, our friend could get sick because of the infection of her teeth!

This is the current situation.

Things will get better with $3000 worth of dental work but probably not before then. The work needed to be done 3 years ago and I simply did not have the money because I was unemployable at the time.

Now I'm more employable but it will take time to earn that much money plus money for rent and food.

So far friends have raised $620 for me of the $3000 needed.

well... I think swift was being helpful to brassfire (sp?) when that situation happened, because she actually needed donations and such she had to share this info with whoever possible, and I might be wrong but, she's being nice with US now letting us know how is everything going on, regardless if she types it down or not... I guess?

I agree.  I was talking to someone earlier and I feel like Swift posting the link rather than typing out the whole situation is actually more beneficial.  That way, a person who, for some reason, doesn't want to see what's going on can skip over the links...but those who are really wanting an update can read both the posts before and after the one Swift linked to.  If she had just typed out the update, then the person who wants more information would be unable to get it.

Poor lady, not a situation I would wish to be stuck in for any length of time, that is for sure. Unfortunatly, I am not in a position myself to offer money or get my comrades-in-arms to offer that kind of financial aid (doesn't help with the U.K operations theatre) ...
BUT...
At the very least accept my best wishes that all will go well in the end (with enough determination and fearsome grit, anything is possible, you have my word with regards to that.)
