Who's anyone excited about The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe movie coming out this December?

I thought the movie came out years ago. Like in the mid-ninties. Are you talking about a remake? BTW. The lion, the witch and the wardrobe was the only one I ever read so I can't post fairly.

Yes, BBC did come out with movies of four of the seven books. Now Walden media is making movies of the books. (And hopefully doing all seven this time! ;))
All that is gold does not glitter
Not all who wander are lost
The old that is strong does not wither
Deep roots are not touched by the frost

From the ashes a fire shall be woken
A light from the shadows shall spring
Renewed shall be blade that was broken
The crownless again shall be king

I love them all, but as for my fav it would have to be Dawn Treader.

Moodyblues

They're all great, but my favorite is definately The Silver Chair, mostly because Puddleglum was in it.  It's hard not to like such a courageous wet blanket. XD  Their argument with the Witch is brilliantly written, although it may be too boring or confusing for younger members of Lewis' audience.

I read the Narnia series when I was younger, and I honestly didn't retain any of it. I couldn't relate to the characters or situations. It's like reading LotR. :P

Lollotte

I read them when I was younger and LOVED them, but LOtR vaguely irked me. Most of those books were good, but the hobbit parts weren't exciting enough.

Oh, and I HATED "The Last Battle."

I love King's Quest!

The way I see the Last Battle is sad because
the children died but happy because everyone was together in the after life.
Sorry Cat.  Are you going to read all the books now?  BTW, how do you make your text to a spoiler for future reference?

Of course, without the spaces. And I think I had the ending spoiled for me, but I'm ok with that. XD

Will I read the books now? Probably, if I could get them, but who knows when I'll have time to read.
