I'm back! I had a good time in Tennesee. I have a question, is Tennesee spelled with one s or two? I hope I'm not spelling the name of the state wrong. My parents and I went to a dinner show featuring music from the 50's to today. The people sang songs from jazz to rock to pop to country and gospel. In the morning we saw a Blackwood Brothers breakfast concert. The Blackwood Brothers are a gospel group in Tennesee. My mom took a lot of pictures with her new digital camera, we got some mountain and waterfall scenes. We went to a park and walked about a mile and a half to see a beautiful waterfall. You had to be careful and watch where you place your feet when we got to the waterfall, there were tree roots and rocks and it was easy to slip. I got to go gem mining, well, at Raccoon caverns they had a tourist place where you could get a bag of dirt and gravel with some quartz and other semi-precious and precious stones in it. I found some small red stones, they are either ruby or garnet, and some green stones like malachite, some amethysts, lapis lazuli or agate, and clear quartz crystals. Unfortunately, on Mother's Day as dad was dirving us back to Florida my mom got sick. She had a migraine headache and motion sickness from the curves of the mountains, and she started throwing up and couldn't keep anything down. Dad insisted in the afternoon that we take her to a hospital in the closest town we could find a hospital after she'd been throwing up all day. So we took my mom to the emergency room in Demorest, Georgia. We didn't have to wait long and the doctor saw mom and gave her shots for the pain and nausea. It was getting late so dad got her prespription filled and we spent the night in a hotel in Georgia. Today Mom is feeling better and we drove home, mom drove a little bit. My pets, my cat and my 2 birds were very glad to see us. While I was in Tennesee I got to pet some other cats and dogs. One guy in a strip mall parking lot had a golden rereiver in the back of his truck along with a raccoon in a cage. He said he was going to release the raccoon in the wild.
