Etheria screenshots

I have kings quest 7 and i have been looking at the screenshots and I noticed that it was Etheria in Eldtrich. I wonder does ayone know what lands kq9 will be in?

The Lands of the Green Isles will be in KQIX.  You can read about other lands in the KQ9.org 3rd Anniversary chat log.

You get to explore many of the previous lands in the game series, and some new ones as well. Etheria is my favorite land in the king's quest  world, it's so beautiful, I wish that you could explore it more in KQ7. Looks like my wish will come true with KQIX.

King's Quest 7 was the first King's Quest I ever played, and probably my favorite. I was obsessed with Etheria, and I, too, always wanted to be able to explore more of it. You know the scene with the harp? Near the edge of the screen near the garden is an umbrella. I used to think it belonged to a restaurant, and that a town was nearby. I always tried to get to it!

Now I'm super excited. How much of Etheria will we get to explore in KQIX?

I was always obsessed with Etheria too. The beauty and serenity of it really appealed to me. Plus, being so young, I'd always wondered what clouds were like. I really liked the screen with the dragonflies (? I need my KQ7 back! ) their music was pretty. But it might've just been that I spent so long there to solve the harp puzzle.

I always loved Etheria as well. The dragonet's were so cute and made the prettiest music. I can't wait for this game to come out if it means I will be able to explore more of Etheria-mabye even part of the castle.

Well then, that definitely prooves (along with the trailer) that Graham must travel into the world of dreams to stop the plague of nightmares everyone is experiencing.

Yes, TSL will revisit old KQ lands, (mainly Land Of The Green Isles)

There was a screenshot of a place in the clouds at one point. I think that may have been another place in Eldtrich. So I would go with yes, there will be more places to explore in Eldtrich

I don't know if anyone had noticed this before, but in that same group of screenshots (they're pretty old, by the way) there are two locations that seem to be the isle of wonder and isle of the mist, but in a very distorted /creepy version. Does anyone has an idea about what happened there? maybe it's some sort of alternate dimension or a dream...

I had always been under the impression from the screenshots, that some dark spell had befallen the isles, causing them to take on their new creepy appearances.

Those Underworld pictures, i thought that was the swamp in KQ2 by dracula's castle because of the ferry and the lake does look kinda poisonus.
