However when the game is released I would love to read the script.

I doubt I could be buggered reading the script if I had it.

The demo has pretty much no plot whatsoever though, so I'm pretty sure you'd be fine playing it, Shades.

But as for the script, I'd probably do the same thing. I mean, why read it when you could wait and live it? I wouldn't want to be all alone in my "OMGSH! I CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT JUST HAPPENED!"-ness either. It would be no fun reading it alone. I might be VERY strongly tempted if a few of my friends also had access.

Typically I hate spoilers, but if it is right there in my grasp and all I have to do is flip a page, I doubt if I would be able to resist. GRRR!
