isn't an idea to make a forum where all members can introduce them self and where all members can ask questions to that person?

If you mean forum members, you can ask them questions in their respective threads within the We're In Haven forum.

If you mean KQIX team members, you can ask questions in the forum dedicated to the department they work in (i.e. Programming, Art, Plot, etc).

For general questions that apply to any team member, you can ask it in General, and for general questions that apply to any person you can ask it in Off-Topic.  :)

I think a forum would be overdoing it, but maybe an introduction topic?

I think we had something like that years ago.  Anyway, sure, go ahead and start one up in Off Topic.  :)

Excuse me for asking stupidly.. ;P

But isn't that what the welcome thread is for? :D

The welcome thread is more a thread of people welcoming someone (by this, I mean 90% of the posts say "Welcome <nickname>! XD").  That thread exists because some newbie would post in a thread, and the next 20 posts would all be welcoming the guy, rather than actually contributing to the original thread. ::)

Anyway, it's rare to find people actually introducing themselves in the welcome thread, or to see welcomers actually ask the welcomees questions. :P

I'm afraid that your logic makes too much sense for me to argue against it. XD

Maybe.. an introduction topic would be a good thing, but just as with the welcome thread, I'm pretty sure that few would ever use it, because many use whatever thread they post in first (usually a comment) to introduce themselves..

[example]"Hello I'm new here, sorry for my bad english but I live on Mars and.." [/example] ;)

But yeah.. worst case scenario.. thread is abandoned.. best case scenario.. thread becomes a sticky!.. hmm.. that SHOULD warrent a sticky.. actually.. I demand that it becomes a sticky so that people will know of it/feel inclined to use it.. whadda yah say old pal?

Great idea!  And no need to restrict it only to newbies.  We all can introduce ourselves there too! XD

But, I had to unsticky the Welcome thread, because it would lead to some confusion.  We can of course merge "Welcome Blah! ;D" posts with the welcome thread, but the introduction thread will be more appropriate for newbies. :)
