I have to capitalize it every time I say it, even though it's not actually capitalized in your username, because "cupcake" is one of those pastry-related pet names I use when I'm sarcastic with people and/or being nice to people who really don't deserve it.
Much like "babycakes", "honeybun", and "sweetie-pie".
