Welcome Striker... please don't strike anyone too much... if you feel the urge to strike something, I suggest the Stabbing Thread.

Welcome!! I hope your stay at the asylum will be...um...nice? ;D
Quit the glowing-stuff already, it's seriously messed up in Linux/Firefox! I already had to endure Kimmie using that awful purple glow, but this one's even worse!
Furthermore, one can't get admitted into the Asylum with only one post, far too little study-material. :scholar:
Welcome Striker (is reminded of Storm's avatar. ;) )! Don't forget Vivendi re-released the original KQ series (ven though it's just KQ1-6 and just the DOS-versions).

Already introduced myself a tiny bit in my first post, but I suppose I should put this where it belongs. ;D

Hi! I've been playing King's Quest since I was two, and my first experience was trying to get off that @#$%@ mountain of Manannan's. Still haven't beaten KQIII after all these years, but I have beaten all the others. I've been poking my head in to look at the website for two years or so now, and I just mustered up the energy to make a forum account, because I read the forums when I'm bored at work anyway, might as well join in! :)

And the name's an antique handle from my youth, Kary was the fiend of fire in the original Final Fantasy and I wanted to grow up to be just like her. Just in case anyone's wondering. :)

Uh so I am not new but I wouldn't say I am old either.  I have been around off and on.  Just recently I have started posting pseudo regularly.  Plus I am 22 so I wouldn't say I'm old :P

Heh yeah I'd like to think I'm not old either at 25, but when teenagers say you are it's kinda offputting. :P

Anyway to stay on topic, keep up the posting efforts Dangling :)

Welcome Dangling! Where's your Participle gone? :P
Some say 'You're only as old as you feel.' I only feel in my early 20s, and according to my ID I'm 34! In the TSL Family however, I'm one of the grandparents! :)

Unfortunately the horrid beast stole my Participle. XD  Thanks for the welcome! I am surprised there are so many young people how know of and like King's Quest.  Although it is probably like my situation where my sister told her daughters about KQ and so they wanted to play it.  There are some parts that kind of scare them but they have made it up to 6 so far.  I expected 20's and 30's to be the norm
