Yay! I'm the first voter.  ;D

I think it would be very interesting to play an adventure game based around Egyptian mythology. It's probably my favorite, out of all the many mythologies of the world.

My second choice would have been Greek.

Egyptian would be rather interesting IMO :D

You could go inside the pyramids and explore the desert, or you could make it into a comedy and have little UFOs putting the pyramids together :P ::)

Norse mythology, not scandinavian, it existed outside of scandinavia as well; iceland, england, germany etc, during the period of 8th to 12th century. And my reason for choosing this? There's too many games based on greek/japanese/egyptian mythology at the moment.  :)

Chinese; especially after seeing Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. XD

I said Aboriginal because the Aborigenies believe you only really live inside your dreams, and that would be a cool concept in an adventure game. Just Imagine...Dream Quest!  ;D

I'd like to have it in Greek mythology. It's the one I'm most familiar with.

Japanese because I havent ever played an adventure game based on traditional Japanese mythology. I cant really think of many games in general that use it either...

Definitely Scandinavian! Not enough of that in my book. Maybe it's because I'm a Londo........no that's not right.... a Swede, do I love Scandinavia so.

There are untold treasures to be dug up and since there aren't many stories out there about the old Thule, people would be challenged to make through the games too easily.

would prefer if people could call it NORSE mythology, since it existed far outside of scandinavia too..  :P

I would like to see a game based on Japanese mythology. I don't know as much about it as I do alot of the other choices, and a game makes an interesting way to find out more.

Hmmm, well, Greek and Egyptian are already well covered in the Western world, so something from the other hemishpere would be cool. :) I tried reading some Norse mythology once and it was SO WEIRD. x.x Well, it's mythology, so that's a given, but this was weirder than weird. XD Still, I loved playing Gauntlet Legends as VALKYRIE!! pwhahahahaha!

*cough* Anyway, Aboriginal might be interesting, but I really don't know much about it beyond the dreamtime thing. Maybe I'm just stuck up or narrow-minded, but I often find mythology from tribal cultures to be a bit... bland and vague in some ways.

So I picked Chinese, because Japanese culture is more popular nowadays, and I would like to learn more about the Chinese culture. Mythology from India might be cool, too.

Hard to choose. I love mythology in computer games. Probably Norse, with Aboriginal a close second.

Elessar

I chose Greek. Even though there are alot of Greek games, I just love their whole culture and mythology. But I'd say that Norse is a close second.
