KQ2: Looking in the hole in the rock on the top of the mountain shows a quick preview of Space Quest I. Also, the Batmobile from the original 60's Batman series occasionally comes out of Hagatha's cave. And finally, the game's title "Romancing the Throne" was taken from an 80's Indiana Jones style movie called "Romancing the Stone".

Also there is a Screen in KQ2 where if you type Read Sign then a Window pops up where a Guy is advertising to Kolyma about KQ3

Maybe... and what about looking behind the tapestry in KQIII that says something about KQIV. If there was something like that in KQII and then KQIII what about IV V & 6? (and maybe 7)

Here's a Sierra odd fact: Conquest of Camelot combines Roman and Greek mythology instead of one.

The Roman and Greek mythologies are a lot alike, maybe they just got confused ;)

I don't think so... they listed Aphrodite, Ceres, and a few other godess'  even though Aphrodite is called Venus in Roman mythology and Percepherus (or something like that) is Ceres' Greek mythology name.
Also: KQ6=Death (sounds too religious to be mythology about his being 'chained to the throne whilst still a man')
        KQ7=Roman Mythology (Ceres and Attis)
        MoE=Egyptian Mythology (The underworld has the egyptians death god as it's ruler
QFG4=Transylvanien Mythology (sort of)
QFG5=Hades (Greek Mythology)
Funny how Sierra jumps back and forth isn't it?

If you put the cheese in Mordack's Machine without the wands, Cedric won't be there to save you, even if you did help him back on Harpie Island. I don't know if the death message is different though. (I'm too nice to leav Cedric :P )

It's funny how you find you enjoy your life when you're happy to be alive.

Well you can turn the audio off and that solves one problem. Then you can fail just keep pushing enter to keep him from speaking and pointing out that there's a poisonous snake on the screen (as if you couldn't see it). He isn't useless, he saves you from Mordack remember?

Does anyone else remember the old "Edge of the screen trick"? (When somethings coming, run off the screen and it won't trouble you.)
I noticed that it doesn't work on the Yeti in KQ5, or the Ogre in KQ4 if you go south from his house. You still have a chance to escape the Ogre, though. Just try to run from the Yeti. :P

So does the Yeti try to follow you, or is it simply not possible to leave the screen?

You know how slow he moves trying to get you on his screen? That must've been a workout, 'cause he charges into the next screen grabs you, and I think he even drags you back to his lair. You don't even have a chance to escape, last I checked.
