Currently, deaths will be KQ6-style. So when you die, you must either: Restore, Restart or Quit. We may do KQ7-style auto-saving further in the game, but I don't believe we will in Part One.
I'm glad. The auto-save was one of the t hings I didn't like about KQ7.
